Biography & Exhibitions

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Massachusetts College of Art as well as a Master of Fine Arts degree from San Diego State University. I taught as an adjunct instructor for 15 years at San Diego State University and at The Design Institute of San Diego, as well as various community colleges. I also took part in numerous art exhibitions during my years in San Diego and was a member of an arts group called 'The Seven'. We produced several exhibitions at San Diego venues, including SDSU, The San Diego Museum of Natural History, The New School of Architecture, and the San Diego Museum of Photographic Arts. In addition, I briefly curated the Sierra Club's art gallery and helmed the production of a Sierra Club group exhibition at the Lyceum Theater in San Diego.  While a graduate student at SDSU, I was privileged to receive a third-place prize for drawing from the Los Angeles Arts Council.

I now reside on idyllic Harstine Island, Washington State.
